The first one is really, really cute! I think it could use a little of a background. Maybe some more actual cat tails or a pond.

The second one isn't hitting it with me. I like the idea, but mario and luigi look like smurfs. I also think you could add more of those little balls that pac man eats. Having just one looks a little awkward. Also the chainchop should look a little angry don't you think? Good work so far though!

I think cat tails would do really well here!
