Cart Google Mapping Threadless Users!
I found myself very surprised at how widespread the users of threadless seem to be throughout the world, so thought it might be interesting to get people to "map" themselves (generically that is, we don't need any stalkers) collaboratively to generate a map showing what parts of the world are most populated with the creative tee shirt creating types...
So I created this GOOGLE MAP for people to bookmark the city they live in.
The map is open to all, so feel free to pass it around.
And as a general rule of thumb, if you're going to participate, I think it would be VERY wise to just place your marker in a generic location (like the middle of a city) as opposed to a location near your home, to stay away from any weirdos.

Also, FYI, when you're posting your location, you can also add HTML, so feel free to post your avatar that you use on threadless (or anything else for that matter I suppose).

Okay, not sure this is the "easy way", but, here is a solution.
First, add the threadless map to "My Maps"
Second, type in your city so that the map zooms to where you are, then from there, select the pin that shows up, then change the info to what you want it to say and select "Save to My Maps"
Select "Threadless Users" and OK and it should show up.

hmmm... my directions may not be right, someone in Alexandria, VA just added themselves and it gave the default city info and picture... anyone else who posted got any tips?

It was fairly simple when I did it..
Sign in to Google, and you should be able to edit the map.
On the left hand side, under my maps, there is an EDIT button.
Click that, and three little icons will appear on the map.
(a hand, a pin, and a line tool)
Click the pin, and make your mark! :]
