That looks to me like the inner capsule of a KinderEgg. Would I be correct in assuming this?
For those who don't know, KinderEggs are the European (mostly German) equivalent of those chocolate Magic Balls, except it was an egg-shell, not a sphere. Do you remember those? You'd crack the chocolate shell open and there'd be stuff inside? Well, while ours went away, these have still been going strong. You can even get them shipped here if you look hard enough.
Hope I've cleared up why the capsule doesn't look egg-ish. At least enough so that people get it. He probably should have written that somewhere in his post, but oh well.
great, great, great idea. but i think you need to work a bit on the execution. like others have said--the eggs, one footed chick, and maybe try to make it look more 2-dimensional.
definitely looks like a KinderEgg container. you can't walk into a store in Europe without being forcefed those things. I agree with everyone, the chick's leg looks way too big :0 and I think it'd look good on baby blue
