Music is a pretty big deal in the warehouse. We make, teach, and write about it when we're not at work, and spend most of the actual workday listening to and talking about it. So if you've ever wondered what we're playing while picking and shipping all those shirts, now you can see everything on our last.fm page (even down to the number of Fridays we've played Friday by Rebecca Black, and how many night shifts we've played Night Shift by The Commodores). We'll probably do some other cool things with it, so go ahead and friend us if you have a profile and let us know what we should play next!
Hey, all! I'm Dustin. I work in the warehouse. I play in a band called The Felix Culpa, and we're playing a set in the warehouse today! You can check out the show on the Threadless uStream channel at 12:30 CST today - http://www.ustream.tv/channel/threadless-on-facebook.
Now, we're looking for some really great interview questions for the warehouse crew to ask me and my bandmates for the Warehouse Picks video... Anything you'd like to know about the band or about me and Tristan working at Threadless (he's the tech dude with the neck tattoo) or about Batman (Tristan is Batman) or anything else, ask away!
In December we started having live bands play at least once a month in the warehouse. The first band to play was Flatfoot56 and in January we had Screaming Females.
We love music in the warehouse here at Threadless and we want our community involved. This time we are going to use the theme of "Girls, Girls, Girls." Make us a mix of songs that are about or performed by Girls. Here's an example:
Upload your mix of 8 tracks and submit the link in a comment on this blog. The warehouse crew will vote on their fave mix of the month and that person will win a $50 Gift Certificate and 8tracks will send the winner an 8tracks tee shirt!
To keep things fair and simple we will only listen to the first mix submitted and only 8 tracks of the mix.
We have a wide variety of taste but first and foremost we like to keep it fun.
Screaming Females are playing in the Threadless Warehouse this Friday at 12:30pm CST. We will have it ustreaming so be sure to tune in at Threadless ustream
If you are in the Chicago area and would like to attend reply to this thread and I'll pick a few lucky people.
We love music in the warehouse here at Threadless and we want our community involved. This time we are going to use the theme of "Space Adventure." Make us a mix of songs that are inspired by space and adventure. Just to make it more interesting and not so obvious... Dave Bowie "Space Oddity" is not allowed. Here's an example:

We've spent the last few days exploring the rarely seen depths of the Threadless warehouse. In our exploration we discovered tees long since thought gone. Here's your chance to score these tees if your brave and clever enough to find them. Good luck to you all and beware the cursed tee of Warehouse Manager Eddie Gobbo.
We love music in the warehouse here at Threadless and we want to get our community involved. This time we are going to use the theme of "spooky." Make us a mix of songs that will send shivers down our spine and make us go bump in the night. Here's an example:
Please include "spooky" in your mix title and tag it Threadless
