New Threadless Kids Exclusive Designs!

Hey everyone! You may have noticed we printed five designs this week exclusively for kids!!! We're experimenting with doing this more often as it gives us a lot more flexibility for our kids' line.

Up until now, we've only printed kid-friendly adult designs on kids' clothing. So it's a huge step for Threadless Kids! to choose designs specifically suited for the young folks.

This also means more designs in total will be printed. Currently the design payment for designs that end up as exclusive Threadless Kids! product is $500 cash + a $250 gift certificate. We’re psyched to print even more cuteness in the future!

question: will all designs submitted that are "kid friendly" be considered for kids tees or does the designer have to let threadless know that the design is for kids only? I know since it was new you guys picked from current regualr competition subs, not sure if it will work the same going forward??

every design submitted will be eligible for kids and we look at the scores that come in from the kid's website among other things.

So if a design gets a high score because hundreds of people who don't wear kids sizes voted because they wanted to wear it, is there a way to then petition for the kid's shirt to become an adult shirt? I am all for more designs getting printed and more money going to more designers, but it seems a little unfair to the community, since everyone voting "I'd buy this" is PROBABLY thinking "for myself", not "for a kid".

AdderXYU - we will still be printing designs on both adults and kids if we do print them for adults as well, so it's not like everything on kids from here on out will only be for kids.

These are really cute. It's cool you guys are trying to do more designs for kids, but I'm a little sad because I would wear the heck out of Don't Eat Me, My Worst Fears, and Space Chase.

Ive scored all the design in the running but I wanna know what is also running for kids options also how can I tell if one of my designs is being scored at the kids area?

If you click on the Kids button at the very top of this page then go to Help us Choose Designs.

What i want to know is who chooses the designs that make it to the kids section for scoring?
