Mimi joins Threadless!

Hello Threadless!

I wanted to introduce myself to everyone here in the Threadless universe. My name is Mimi, and I just joined the Threadless team as Artist Liaison, which means that I not only get to work with all you amazing artists, but I also get to help create new art programs and initiatives we will bring to the Threadless community. Basically, I'm now the go-to person for all things artist related. If your design gets chosen for print, you'll get an email from me. If you submit a design, I'll let you know whether or not it made it into the running. At the same time, if you have any question or concerns, problems or praise - I'm your girl. I'm here to help you guys as much as possible, so think of me as your person on the inside!

I am so honored to be working here at Threadless and hope to institute a myriad of fun, new opportunities for artists. Just to tell you a little about myself: I recently moved from New York City where I managed an international art gallery and coordinated special events with leading arts organizations for the last three years. I love traveling, learning about different cultures, and chai lattes. I am so pumped to be a part of the team and I can't wait to get to know everyone! 1. My older sister actually gave me that nickname. She couldn't say my real name because she was was just learning to talk at the time so she said "mimi."
2. Almost everyone calls me Mimi now, so it's pretty real to me!

4. I love warm colors so probably red and orange. Oooo that makes me want to sit my a fire and drink hot cocoa :D

Okay. First of all, I can't believe you mentioned Boy in a Plastic Bubble because I bought that movie on VHS like two weeks ago from a thrift store because it looked so cool.....then I watched it.

m: Table Tennis - I'm not saying that to be funny, I seriously love it....and am excited to see how amped up it gets in China because it's huge there.

n: When I was a kid I wanted to be Jake from The Rescuers Down Under. But I think wanting to be is different from who I'd actually be....Stitch.

o: I tried to play guitar in a punk band when I was younger...we'll just call that a "no".

p: When I was like 9, this Hispanic kid who lived behind me sold me a cassette single of Dr. Dre. and Tag Team's - Whoomp There it Is. I had to hide them because of the naughty language. I believe the first album I bought on CD was No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom. Definitely could have been worse.

And yes I have jumped a car....I meant with the cables though, not with your feet.
