From climate change to intelligent design, HIV/AIDS to stem cells, science education to space exploration, science is figuring prominently in our discussions of politics, religion, business, current affairs, and the arts. New insights and discoveries in neuroscience, theoretical physics and genetics are revolutionizing our understanding of who we are, where we come from and where we're heading. Today, science is culture.

Seed is a science magazine launched out of and for these times. Each issue seeks to provoke critical thinking about science and its role in society. Seed was founded on the conviction that widespread science literacy is essential for progress, and is invested in creating content across platforms to achieve this objective.

Seed is the recipient of the 2006 Utne Independent Press Award for Best Science and Technology Coverage. The jury noted, "the best comparison for Seed is the early years of Rolling Stone, when music was less a subject than a lens for viewing culture."

Loves Who Are The Judges
The selected design(s) will be chosen by a panel of Judges including Threadless staff and a representative from the promotion sponsor(s).
 Loves Promotion Guidelines
  • The design(s) to be printed will be chosen by the Judges within 45 days after the submission close date.
  • Use the submission form by selecting Participate -> Submit Ideas from the menu or click the button below to submit.
  • All submissions will also be eligible to be printed as a regular Threadless tee.
  • The submission must not be a design that has already been submitted to Threadless.
  • You may only submit up to three designs during the duration of the promotion.
