It's a dark, sultry night. A patter of rain hits the window ledge and steam rises, barely lit by your desktop monitor. As you sit back in your chair, contemplating the scene, a shadowy figure appears in the doorway and whispers...
Your challenge is to create an amazing mysterious tee design based on noir.
The figure hands you a blank envelope and leaves. You open it. It says "If you choose to accept this challenge, you could be rewarded with a coveted artist spot in the newest series of Comics-On Tees, penned by noir comic book writer, Brian Azzarello. And be the proud owner of 10 awesome noir graphic novels! You have until April 10 to submit your design. Good luck."

- $500 Threadless Gift Certificate (can be redeemed for $200 cash)
- $3,000 in cash from Threadless! - $2,000 for this chosen design and $1,000 for the future Comics On Tees design!
The purpose of the submissions relating to this promotion is to create a stand-alone design inspired by the challenge, not a brand tee. Your design should not have brand names or logos on it.
- The design(s) to be printed will be chosen by the Judges within 45 days after the submission close date.
- Use the submission form by selecting Participate -> Submit Ideas from the menu or click the button below to submit.
- All submissions will also be eligible to be printed as a regular Threadless tee.
- The submission must not be a design that has already been submitted to Threadless.
- You may only submit up to three designs during the duration of the promotion.
