Utrecht
New York City, 1949. Unable to find quality artists' linen on this side of the Atlantic, artist Norman Gulamerian began importing fine linen from Europe with his brother Harold. The two fledging art supplies sellers named their venture Utrecht Linens, Inc. and dedicated themselves to supplying artists with the highest quality art materials and supplies for the best value.

Today, Utrecht still mills its own premium artist paints and gesso at our Brooklyn, NY plant, making us unique among American artist supply companies. Professionals around the world choose our art supplies store for our exceptional quality, value, selection and service.

Front Forty Press
Front Forty Press (FFP) is an independent publishing company that is focused on, "the cultivation and communication of ideas". This is accomplished via award winning books that explore a variety of artistic and social topics, select audio projects, as well as through regionally focused activism. Beginning in 2004, FFP launched as a collaborative e-Book podium on the Internet only. In 2007 FFP entered the marketplace "offline" and now has seven printed titles in distribution worldwide.
House Industries
House Industries is a bastion of typographic optimism in a world of the lowest common aesthetic denominator. For over 15 years, our hand-drawn alphabetic visions have been mainstays of the visual arts industry. In other words: Check us out, we make lots of great fonts.

This challenge has ended
Some of the best designs begin as a simple hand-drawn sketch. It's incredible how random drawings in sketchbooks, on coffee table napkins, or doodled across sticky notes become sweet pieces of art once fleshed out onscreen. Your challenge is to create an amazing tee based on your original drawing. Feel free to explain your process with the submission or take some photos showing how you've created the design. If your design wows the community, it could be your ticket to a wealth of goodies, including a new Wacom Cintiq tablet!
