Interview by Charlie Festa
Hello there, and how are you doing today?
I'm alright, I could go for a bottle of moxie right now.

How did you get your start in design?
How I got my start was simply because I loved seeing design everywhere, so about six years ago when I was in High School I sat down in front of a computer (Mac of course) and played with Adobe Illustrator, haha... I didn't even know how to use the pen tool! I loved it, every time I tried something I got a little better, every finished piece showed more talent, so eventually I went to Kutztown University for fine art, and then finished in graphic design and 3D at Bradley Academy. I'm an art director of an apparel design studio now, but honestly, I have so much more to do yet:)

What inspires your work?
I'm inspired by almost everything I guess. My friends, parents, the farm property where I grew up, other artists, music, even my dog... yeh... he's pretty inspiring.

How does it feel to have a design selected by Threadless?
It feels surreal, My best friend Tony was sitting next to me and we were watching "The Ringer" and I decided to check my mail and saw that my design was selected... I didn't think I could smile that hard. But I'm extremely thankful, it means a lot to me to have a design selected.

What do you plan to spend your hard-earned cash on?
Well... I do need a new laptop desperately(the one I have now is on life support basically)... but I made a promise to a friend if I ever did win, so I'm going to uphold that.
