Hello there, and how are you doing today?
Pretty great, a lot of foxy foxes (ladies) here in Portland are coming out of hibernation now that the weather is nice.

How did you get your start in design?
I studied aerospace engineering in college. Whenever I was working on a project, I would spend more time photoshoping pictures of airplanes and space shuttles for the presentations than on the actual, you know... rocket science part.

What inspires your work?
Maybe daydreaming. I do a lot of that, daydreaming about being in a radical band and playing a live show, or skateboarding, or starting my own mens underwear store, or having a double olympic size pool and putting one of those big 80 degree angle super water slides with it, but instead of just flying into the pool there's this big ass ramp at the end of the waterslide that shoots you about 100ft into the air. Maybe you could wave to your hellicopter pilot buddies while you were in the air, they could film it and you could use that footage for the opening scene in your movie. What do you think, would you see a movie like that?

How does it feel to win on Threadless?
A lot better than getting caught making out with your cousin in the garage sophomore year of highschool.

What do you plan to spend your winnings on?
I'm going to start an IRA, seriously. Most likely a ROTH IRA, it seems like a better deal than a simple IRA. I've also always wanted to seed a scholarship fund for kids who remind me of myself.
