Interview by Charlie Festa
Hello there, and how are you doing today?
Your about to find out how I feel if you don't get that f@#ken mic out of my face.
losing my grip
How did you get your start in design?
Well I have always drawn ever since I can remember, but the first time I was really introduced to design was sophomore year of high school when I entered this program where they integrated media into all of your classes. That experience was cool we stayed with the same classmates through out the whole 3 year MCA experience and we all became a family where I was the one they went to for my opinion.
Day at the office
What inspires your work?
Everything inspires my work little bits and pieces of things I see might pop into my work at random. If I think about it there are two count them two things that inspire me the most. The first is culture, which are places where I find most of my inspiration. Then were I get a great amount if inspiration is from other artist, I see their work and I either love the style or the way they executed the piece and I find a way to incorporate that into my style and designs. And as my favorite quote by Picasso that I heard from one of my teachers is.. (Hope I don't butcher it) "Amateurs copy and great artist steel" - Pablo Picasso

How does it feel to have a design selected by
Threadless?
I got to tell you Bob, it's good, great, it feels amazing it really does. This was a long time coming I mean the last designs were good but I had a feeling about this one. I got one thing to say to those who said it wasn't possible for me to make this happen and that I was a failure… You were adopted, no body loves you and no one ever will. Well I just feel amazing and hope that there are more to come.
