Hey! I don't blog... at all lol, so this is a little foreign to me. I guess I'm supposed to rant about something? I don't know. How about... how much it sucks to have completely white, empty walls? I don't know about the rest of the normal world, but I just about go crazy in a plain room. I guess I thrive in disorganization :)
It's never been on when I've been watching tv.
Pretty funny stuff. The dog has the same voice as Bender. I haven't IMDB'd it yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
I didn't even know what the hell a kabocha was, man. My brother picked one up last week on a whim. Apparently it's a type of Japanese squash. And I like squash, so I decided to cook it. And now you can cook it, too! This recipe would work perfectly well with any type of squash, though probably best with a sweet kind.
Here's what you need:
1 squash 1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded 1/2 cup(-ish) of quinoa or rice 1 apple Peas Chopped or shredded carrots Some honey Black pepper
First thing's first: Cut that squash in half and gut it! Just use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and fibers. You'll also want to slice a tiny piece off the back of each half so they're able to stand up later. Otherwise it'll be more difficult to stuff them.
I saved the seeds and cleaned them off later. I'll probably toast them tomorrow night, just like pumpkin seeds.
I sprinkled a bit of black pepper inside each half before I stuck them in the oven. When you've added whatever seasoning you want to the squash, stick them on a baking sheet cut side down. Put them in the oven for 35 minutes at 350F.
While the squash is cooking, it's time to get everything else ready. Wash and peel your apple (use whatever kind you want), then chop it up nice and chopped-like.
Get your quinoa or rice cooking. My rule is that quinoa and white rice can be cooked in 12 minutes. Brown rice takes 37 minutes. But that's just me. Cook it however you cook it. I chose quinoa.
If you haven't shredded your chicken breast yet, go ahead and do that. You can cook it in a toaster oven, regular oven, or on the stove. Whatever way you prefer. Just git 'er done.
Toss the apple into a pan with some peas, carrots, and a bit of oil. Go ahead and sauté all that up.
Once your apple pieces are a good color, mix in the quinoa/rice and chicken along with some honey and black pepper. Mix that all up.
When the squash is done, take it out of the oven, but leave the oven on, because they're going back in soon. Flip the squash over and stuff the halves up. Pack it all in there. It's ok if it overflows a bit. I drizzled a bit more honey over top, because I like honey.
Put it back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Now would be a good time to wash whatever dishes and utensils you used during the prep work. Don't be a slob in the kitchen, man. No one wants that. When it's all finished cooking, take it out and eat it up.

I was finally convinced by a friend of mine to join Threadless. I have watched him vote and post on blogs but that is about it. I am an illustration and design student right now but hope to be in the field professionally.
I have submitted now two designs that are pending approval.
Got a little help from my friend on the layout but please let me know what you think.
Does anyone know how kid's designs are chosen? Are they selected from the same pool as all threadless shirts or do they fall under a different selection process?
or the new select line
I don't like it and it seems I'm in the minority, it feels like I'm in an emperors new clothes scenario.
why does threadless want to move away from unique t-shirts design (old select) and towards generic catalog fashion (new select) and how do you fee about this?
So I came back into the cafeteria and a friend was sitting in my seat. I pulled the chair back, and he was sitting on the edge so he fell out of the chair and spilled Gatorade all over my other friend's computer, which now doesn't work. I'm really upset with myself and scared that of what he will do. what should i do????
One of you all STP'd me an hour ago. I haven't been STP'd in months. Thanks for even thinking about me.
For you, French toast sticks.
You may or may not be in interested. the band ''frightened rabbit'' are a band i would recommend with hast.
Seems like threadless aint what it used to be. I've known about threadless for a long time, my first account was from 2006 - I subbed one awful design that finished early and got bad comments so I gave up. Then in 2009 I decided to give it another go and got a new account and got my old account deleted. I firmly believe a good design is a good design regardless but popularity defininetely is playing a part big time. It seems like back then all you needed was a good design to get a good response and possibly get printed. Now it seems you need a good design as well as a massive following whether it be through facebook or twitter or other blogs to get enough people to come give you a good score. I just wonder if the introduction and development of blogging and facebook/twitter has been good or bad for threadless? Threadless I'm sure will think it's good - they are getting higher volumes of traffic, selling more shirts - but are they selling the best design shirts? And I'm not just talking about me - some of my designs I think have been printworthy and some are just bad. I think alot of other people are missing out on prints because they don't blog enough and get that popularity vote. Don't we just want threadless to print the best designs? I know consumer voting has always been whats done here but I just feel like some people work really hard to get more votes almost like they are buying them - that is probably the wrong word and it may not be clear what I'm saying - it's hard to explain it - what do others think?
thank you guys.
help me plan it!
food, drinks, etc...what do you guys like?
Alright simply put, I THINK THE PRICES FOR THE NEW SHIRTS ARE RIDICULOUS !!!!!!!!
I love threadless shirts without a doubt i got my first official job 4 months ago and with my first pay check i bought 4 threadless shirts because i love the designs and the fact that the prices seemed reasonable . Though these new "select" shirts what in the world is going on here. Maybe im wrong for this maybe im right but I just had to put it up here when i saw it. STILL LOVE THREADLESS THOUGH PLAN ON GETTING THE LIGHT CYCLE HOODIE FOR THE UP COMING TRON MOVIE HOPEFULLY NEW DESIGN WILL COME OUT FOR IT SO I CAN GET THOSE TOO
