thanks for commenting puku! scored you a $4 on Project Earth. Any idea what I could do to change the faces?...a bit leery of making them too realistic due to copyright laws (eg using faces of actors)

the faces could be more realistic, even if they end up not looking like the original actors. right now the faces look like smooshed putty. Try to avoid live-traced images, they don't do well on a site like this.

oh by the way the design was not done with live trace, all the characters were "hand" traced with the pen tool. The faces were done by putting the reference photo through a filter then tracing the results and jimmying the colours...but yeah a cartoonized version might be a better approach here
