nice. the bicycle and the top part of the phonograph loop flat and not as detailed. maybe bring some more colors into them.

I'm hung up on the bike. I know those front wheels were huge but it somehow seems too prominent to me. Awesome idea! How about brown and blue?

Great idea and execution. The flowery background is a nice touch. Maybe try it on denim color? I could see this getting printed.

I love the brown color scheme, but not so much on the green tee. It lloks good on the khaki background you have now.

the colors and the detail are great. i agree with wendymoon that the bike seems too prominent and i think in its current state steals focus from john cusack. you might try putting it more in the background. wonderful work so far!

This is terrific! Great concept and design! My one suggestion would be to maybe feature it on a real shirt, rather than using the flat t-shirt template (just a personal preference of mine). I find that a real shirt is more flattering to the design than the templates (you could even show it as worn by John Cusack :).

Although... maybe that would be too much, lol. In this one case you managed to make the template look half decent, so I think it would do really well even submitted as is.

I love the design, but I agree, it's not working on the green shirt. A nice neutral color would be great. :)

Thanks for all the input, working on a new version now. Yeah i agree about the template, it is an ugly beast. I just discovered the threadless flickr model group, so i think ill grab a blank shirt from there.

LOVE the detail on the coat. And everything else. Awesome stuff.

the images look so great.. but the swirls coming out the top are so bland and uninteresting.. love the thin lines... maybe all of the background green stuff could be done like that? or just more parts of it in and out... and the background also could be a little less photoshop-ish..

for improvements sake:
-more originality on the swirls and the background foliage

in fact, what does foliage have to do with anything? You could do something completely different if you wanted. an old building? dunno.

Still, i like where this is going. Hope I was of some help.

new version. I put it into the running with the new threadless template that is twice this size and shows all the detail. I am also liking the new shirt colors. I am doing embroidery for the swirls. thanks everyone for the help!
