- redraw the k and its attendant swirls in the same style as the rest to integrate it better as opposed to having it feel like it's layered over top
- tweak the flesh-tone (the one that makes up the majority of lefty's face) to be a little more yellow/desaturated — that color just feels a touch out of place
- make sure you have the placement in your presentation template — even if it's just centered on the front, some people need this to be able to imagine how it will look on a shirt. to that end, i think showing your design on an actual photograph of a shirt helps lots in that regards.
Try adding an upside down faded K in the top left, but behind their heads. And maybe touch up the K's to make them not stand out so much, they look like were stuck on the image, not a part of it.
Vbarnhart, are you still planning on including the "dos caballeros" in the final submission? I'd prefer without text, maybe with just the floral motif. The text gives it an overly "commercial" feel, in my opinion. Like, tons of surf or skate clothing lines have shirts with text like that (e.g. O'Neil, Hurley, Quicksilver, etc.).
any help??
