I'm also looking for presentation suggestions (i.e. Size of the astronaut, bigger or smaller, and/or size of the design, larger or running off the bottom of the shirt).

Refined the design and made it more clear. Placement is still in the same place as version one.

this is excellent! i like the theme, and your design is a nice, simple blend of textures. i guess the checkerboard pattern isn't supposed to be there? it's not on the first version, so i just assumed. =] i think you could make the design cover the whole front of the tee, not just a spot in the center. hope this helps! =]

If you fill with white the checkerboard with white or some halftone, you are good to submit it.

Thanks for all the feedback. On my high resolution file the checkerboard is halftone pattern. At this size it turns to grey (as in the first version) so I tweaked it a tad and it went to the checkerboard.

Does anyone know how to go about doing a better halftone that doesn't go to checkerboard?

Is it better if you polish up the floor? looks a little messy :-/

I've hopefully shown placement and how it would look at full size in one image. Is the design refined enough or should I tweak some things here or there? Also, Cutest of All Cupcakes mentioned adding a bit of colour either in the design and/or shirt. Playing around with that I don't really mind what I see and enjoy a silver on navy. Does it fit the bill better as black and white or would you like to see some colour? Also, wringo95 mentioned enlarging the design to take up the front. I played around with that in early stages and ended up here, but do people want to see it larger?

As I feel I'm getting closer to a submittable design I whipped up an image showing various placements and colors that have been suggested and I've been playing with? Any thoughts on a final?

I like the full-bleed placement. I'm a sucker for those shirts that stretch beyond the usual front-and-center.

I agree with NickDouglas about the placement, it adds a more dramatic effect to the design that makes it very appealing!

Then I guess I'm stuck here. The green on navy has been really growing on me but I think my original black and white design is keeping me from really choosing one or the other.

Or is it possible to offer both options? I know tees can be printed on multiple shirt colors but can the design have multiple colors as well? That would solve all my problems.

Made the astronaut a tad larger in response to parkerdavidmartin's comment and getting ready to submit (apparently both versions) soon unless more suggestions come my way.

Awesome design! I like both versions, but personally I'd rather buy the blue/green version as opposed to the b/w one. Good luck.
