i cleaned it up a bit, and i was wondering if i should vectorize the design because of it's hand-sketchy look. But that's what makes it nice i think, otherwise it could come out too clean when vectorized.

I WOULD TRY TO VECTOR IT AND SEE WHAT LOOKS BETTER

Sketchy with the guidelines still in place I adore. Love the idea for the back, that's probably better clean as it's smaller and'd lcould look too cluttered.

this is awesome as is, please, please, no vector. too much of that already. the sketchiness is gorgeous, seriously. there is one strong diagonal line on the far corner that could go, other than that, don't touch it.

this is a really nice drawing---i'd just suggest that when you sub it, make the image larger so the details can be seen

looks really good! I like it just how it is.

i like the sketchy look too, so i will only take out the strong diagonal line on the right. and will provide a larger picture fir the details, when subbed.

i've cleaned it up a bit, and made sure there were only 5 colors used on each side of the shirt (is this actually allowed? orange is only on the back, but isn't included in the front 5 colors, otherwise i have to loose the darker toast color on the front).



i like to know wich version to submit.

the darker one (v4), or the lighter version (v5)

oh, i've messed up the back-print, the guidelines weren't removed there..... well, you got the idea to compare it with the darker version.

The shadow of the air toast looks a little off to me. It looks like the top part should be skewed slightly to the left?

The five color guideline applies to the whole shirt.

It may be completely centered but the image is heavyer on the left so you have to move it more to the right for it to be balanced.

i much prefer the darker version, but i really like this design and would wear either version. very good work.

Ooh, cool. I'm really liking the concept, and the sketch-ness of the design works really well with it.

changed a lot of little things; placement, shadows, colors and cleaned up the little one.



because of the 5 color rule, i had to let go the orange color from V5. but i wonder if the color was visible in the first place, because of the small size on the back. i think it's more important that the toast keeps his two colors

hey you should use the bright orange on the front too, now that you can use more colors

i intended the bright orange as the glow of the toaster working.

maybe i should use the dark yellow in front as being fading away the heat?

to lajlaj: you're right about the bright orange, so i gave the front also some sparks inside, because of the toaster being ready to serve.

i really like the hand drawn quality, is it a vector trace? or photoshop? submit

deathbydesignnz: it's handdrawn on paper, and cleaned it up in photoshop.

after that i traced it, so i could use in in illustrator :-)

i really like this, but perhaps the shadow could also have more of a handdrawn element to it, like the rest of the drawing!

Version 2 I'd buy in a second. Version 6 I'd definitely buy. I don't think it needs the orange on the front. All four shirt colour suggesttions I love as well.
