i love the style as well...i just wish there was more color...i really like the brown, but maybe just a smidge less? are you allowed 5 colors? or am i making that up... but if you can, maybe if the dress was another color, but solid and have the lines in brown. i don't know. but i like it.

Someone suggested I do this all in grey tones with stars and moon in the bg. Maybe I will try that. 5 colors yes. I have 5. theres two browns an orange the cream and the green. I wll work on it more.

the grey on the grey shirt makes it kinda hard to see. I miss the grass being green

the two green pieces are not suppose to be green. For some reason when i bring them into photshop they turn that color.

maybe i should just forget about subbing this as a tshirt design

its ok you get more feedback then most. But i like the orange tiger. Still kinda miss the green, but these colors are good too

like the blue too. not sure about the flower on the....tiger? sorry i don't know my large cats. It seems to matchy with the girls.

i like the flower on the tiger! it makes all the characters unified, but try to make it look less awkward with the flower on him. also, i love this idea. a lot.

i like the picture better when the suitcase wasn't the same color as the tiger. and also try to get rid of the flower on the tigers head. maybe he could chew on it or something, but it looks like a kalien design, so that's a good thing :-)



might there be a story attached to this design? a fairytale or something i don't know about.

well i'm partial to siamese twin images myself, i've done my own illustration of a pair, so i automatically like this.



do have a couple of things to say though, the rose on the tiger bothers me, but that's just personal aesthetics i think. the twin on the right's face looks a bit odd, i can't tell if it's because of resizing or what, but her right eye looks too small.



those are just minor points though, and i'm not sure how much critique credibility i have given the score of my first 2 subs...i love her dress and especially like the gun. the monkeys and the suitcase are really cool touches too. i'm gonna shut up now.

very pretty kalien :) i don't mind the flower because it adds to the bizarre element of the design. but if u are going to take the flower out, u might want to add a bell necklace for example on the tiger's neck--or pretty much anything like that to make it more interesting... goodluck on this

what? no, no, version 2 had better colours. the green added a certain swampy feel, the dress had better detail, and all the details showed up much better. man, a person goes away for a day, and suddenly there's 10 more versions. chill, girl! you're workin' it too much! also the tops of the trees had a much more interesting shape that worked better with the rest.



'fascinating' and 'surreal' are both compliments. last time i checked. maybe people have gotten a lot more sarcastic since then.

btw, a 2.88 puts you in line for a win. it may not happen, but you have a good shot.

o.k. I was just asking. You can't really tell if somethings a compliment. Especially online. Oh and people here can be very very sarcastic btw.



This is how I work. I do a lot of revisions until i like it.

If I get stuck i post a version to see if anyone has any advice.



I will think on the tops of the trees. I think thse colors are the ones I like best. If I put the green back I have to loose one of the other colors.



I hope it wins but if not i will keep trying.

is it on heather grey? i don't know if that is what you are intending or if thats just the model. i would say no to heather, go for a solid colored tee, bc heather is sorta textured and i don't think thats right for this design.

That lime green coloured shirt is bothering me though. Not forest or even kelly green?

Although I do have to admit, the blue really *pops* against the lime.

this looks great against that particular shade of green shirt, i don't see anything you need to change. i didn't think there was an option for an olive drab color shirt...i'll have to look again. anyway looks ready to submit to me.

ah, thanks Nik. Its kinda an obsession. If it dosn't feel right I have to change it untill it does. Also these are for a show in L.A. as well as for threadless so they need to look perfect.

yeah, the darker colour is contrasting well, and the green also works. i'm happy to see the tree tops back with the earlier design they had. i can understand how it was important to have the red available for the roses, and that's worth sacrificing the green, i guess. the v2 twins had a more antique feel, and it all was more 'alice in wonderland' to me, so i still love that version, but this one is more modern and more intense. i'll definitely 5 it.

i like the gray blue background the best, it gives the shirt a better vibe. The green doesnt seem to fit with the design. I would go with only darker colored shirts for this design.
