Is the design better in one color or two? If the design is one color, preferably black, it could go on any color shirt except for the really dark colors. Any suggestions?
this is cool!...yes, keep it all black. i agree with making it less boxy looking, but i don't think the edges need to be complete. i think leaving them open (not sure if i'm describing that right?), or letting them just sort of fade out would look good...but yeah, i think this is awesome!
it would look good if you put the design in one color that is the same color but a different tone as the shirt color. so dark blue on light blue (or vice versa) or dark green on light green.
I took a couple of your suggestions and tried a similar color ink to the shirt color, only slightly darker. I also tried a couple with extra accent colors.
I actually like the all black V2, I don't mind the boxiness of V1, but I see a lot of comments on threadless that suggest most people don't like the "boxy" thing.
I think the dark black lines on the bright blue shirt in V2 is the best - great job!
My computer keeps freaking out...but this is the lastest (it's the same as V4)
Okay...I think it's down to the last. I put it on real models, narrowed it down to gray/black on gray or teal/black on forest. I messed around to filling in the colors, but it looked like a messed up holstein cow or camouflage. So this is the latest.
Two ink colors, different shades but same hue as the shirt.
Let me know the verdict. I would love to be able to submit this as is.
Good stuff. I like it on both colors too, although I think the grey shows up better. I also liked the sagestone and charcoal colors you had in your older version. I say submit it. If it feels complete to you, then go for it.
this is intense, one of the more interesting designs i've seen so far. i really like how dark it is on the shirt, i'm more likely to wear subtle & muted stuff like this. anyway, this looks ready to go.
