the dinky digger maybe looks too real.

Cool! I'm not so crazy about the color of the box, but I think it's ready for submission.

box color is now also the diggers color, wich enhances it a bit more.

I love the buildings of version 1 but the colors of version 4

hmm, i probably should have added a green shirt from the previous versions as well...

if the background design was the same realistic style of the foreground i'd give it a 5.

tried to give the background an upgrade to fit the detail of the digger.

you need something big so people know the digger is small. Perhaps place it on a table thats big.

or put a dog walking by in the bg thats big. Just part of the dog like his bely and legs would show.

haha, yes, i'll experiment with some options..

maybe a bike or so, the wheels will fit in the design style

yeah a bike is a good idea.

on a table indoors might be cool too just for the sureal aspect of both indoor an outdoor stuff.

í've put an office table-lamp in the scene to enhance the size difference more. i think it does the trick nicely if you compare it to v7.

also gave the lamp a color mix of the subject in front, and the building site in the background.

does anyone like the lamp input?

Maybe instead of a lamp, some kids toys, maybe something to indicate kids running in the background? I dunno.

i think the digger/people should be larger and more in the foreground and the construction site a bit smaller and farther off.



the lamp is a very cool idea, though it completely changes the meaning of the design for me. without the lamp, it looked like an actual-size digger coming out of a giant toy package into a real world scene. now it looks like a small toy and tiny people.

my first sumission

i think i like it better without the lamp, and go back to v7.

so the subject -the digger- gets the main attention again, as coming out of a giant carton box.

like MHVLL said, with a lamp it's a toy again, surrounded with tiny people.



any other suggestions of adding another object like the lamp from v8 wich will work better?

added some shade, and some extra construction materials in front of the box.

i think i'm gonna submit it.....

any last suggestions ?
