A fun idea about snowflakes, the science behind them, and their effect on students and people in general who would prefer to stay in bed on cold nasty days.
wow...nice work. I really like it! I love the detail and though that obviously went into this design. I think I have a piece of "Lethargoid Recticle" permenantly stuck in my brain and won't melt.....lol.
If you have time, I would love to hear what you think of my design
I've never seen anything quite so text heavy on Threadless that had such a good reason for it!
Something is not jibing for me on the title caption. It's either the font, or it's The Use of Title Case, I'm not sure which. Possibly both. Otherwise, I think it's pretty great.
Yes, tight infographics ftw! I like the concept and the execution, just wondering what other typeface you could use for 'The Science of Snowflakes" Or do you not intend to have it printed on there?
this shirt should glow in the dark!
not too fond of the "the science of snowflakes" words though.
i think its a bit about the placement, cause i'm not sure if i can point out anything unsuitable about the font.
yes, your title looks off. I say just kill it completely. The rest of it looks pretty sweet, and your text is funny. I'd be tempted to make the snowflake a tad bigger and move the text bits around a bit, otherwise it's cool :)
Thanks for all of the comments and suggestions guys. I'm definitely in favor of taking out the title in the design. Frankly, I'm not sure why I have it in there. I suppose I forgot I was designing for Threadless.
I'm planning on experimenting with some other fonts for the rest of the text, but readability is top priority since the text will be so small.
I'm also planning on adjusting the placement of some of the text blocks and the design overall.
Thanks again for the feedback. : )
V2 should be up this weekend.
Good thought. I had actually entertained the idea of different shirt colors, but I wasn't sure if the design would stand out enough. Perhaps the color of the design will have to change as well.
I hate it when people click "Don't Submit" without any helpful feedback.
I think, though, I'm going to put this one the back-burner until next winter. I feel like it will have a better chance around December. On to one my other ideas!
