Maybe you have too many colors. You can only have 8, and each of your tetris pieces have 2 each. It looks like you have nine.

I used only 6 colors once it was originally for the starpie contest. But yeah now I noticed the light and dark colors on each piece. Thanks

It looks really nice...don't really know what to suggest for improvement, but you might like this video I found that your design reminded me of....It's the one called pixels. Maybe it'll provide inspiration.

Did you draw the bombers yourself? The two elements might tie together better if their styles matched, unless you intended to set the two apart.

Another idea might be to use B-52's. They would hold a lot of pieces and you could have more dropping from the bay. They normally drop one a at time until you get to the higher levels and they drop like crazy, hence the b-52's. :)

Black shirt will work better here i think.
also the plains should be more simple to fit the tetris style.
also theres something odd about the angle the cubes are falling from the plains, id play with the positions a bit more to try other states

I like the concept. My biggest concern is with the difference in styles between the bombers and the tetris blocks. just a random idea, but what if the planes were made of tetris blocks and disintegrated as they dropped the pieces?

i agree that the shirt should be a blue or light blue colour also the first thing i noticed was the tetris blocks dont have all the same 'inner bits' and that sorta look weird to me but thats all not really a biggy!! overall i love it!! :D

I wouldn't change the bombers to tetris blocks. There's nothing wrong with this mashup - I love it!

I agree with the blue color - sky blue so the bombers look like they are flying in the sky.

For the block colors, you'll have to see what works against the blue. The only problem I have is pastel colors (Pink?) in a war shirt. Plus, I think the the "T" and square colors should be more distinct.

Props to choosing the B-24. Most people use the B-25 when showing a WWII bomber. The B-24 was the most produced American military aircraft. I also have a soft spot for the B-24 because my Dad was a production engineer on the Douglas version during the war!

looks really good! i wouldnt change the planes though, the difference between the tetris and planes really work great off each other. it makes it more interesting to look at, but yeah i agree with the angles

i think ist still needs some work on the illustration style to make it your own as it is not an original idea. Check http://store.glennz.com/airdrop.html. Glennz is one success Threadless story but not sure if this design in particular was on Threadless, but chances are it was. Have a look and try to maybe put another twist to the idea. GOOD LUCK
