I would agree with that srtm dude. Keyboard and mouse. Why doesn't the star sitting in the chair have any clothes?

Maybe increase the writing or chose a font? If this were on a shirt I would have to get uncomfortably close to have to read that. Like, real close. Like, "we might as well just kiss at that point" close.

Speaking of kisses, could you give my design a look?

In the movie the keyboard is actually on his lap and I believe the mouse is hidden by the phone. But I will add both of them in. I also planned on re-writing the text, so I will do that as well. As for the increase in text size, could catch, I didn't even notice that.

I can't decide whether I should go with hand writing or a font. I'm also not sure if I prefer the text on the top or the bottom. I'm leaning towards the bottom. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh and I would also like to know if you prefer a font over the handwriting, is this font good? Or should I change it up? If so, I would love to hear any font suggestions you might have.

Also, for the clothes on the star that is sitting. I'm not sure what the best option is. I wouldn't mind dressing him up, but I want him to look less dorky than the boss. I also don't want to lose too much yellow because I'm afraid people won't pick up that they're stars.

Handwriting and font look good, i will use a hand writing to have an originality. other is good. maybe need a glow a bit for the star not the boss.

Great concept, the scene is set up nicely. I prefer the handwritten scripting as opposed to the font, but I'm thinking a typewriteresque font might be worth a try if you haven't already given it a shot.

As for the workers outfitting I might suggest a collar of some sort, but other than that I'm clueless. Everything else looks great!

I would go with the handwriting on the top. As for the star, I think he looks fine. I would say , if possible, make it so his head is looking at the boss. I'm not sure if that's going to be possible without disturbing the rest of it though, so maybe just leave it as is.

Hey, thanks for the comment earlier and I agree it would do better with some fill instead of just the outline. First off, I really like your concept. Definitely have the text up top because it reads better with the character speaking. Definitely do the hand written font and the worker star is much better undressed in my opinion since it clearly separates the two and makes the worker seem more subordinate. Funny stuff!

lol! Have to agree with the above comments and I think the worker star looks fine without clothes on. Also I would move the font to the top again. Great work though, it's hilarious! Mind taking a look at mine when you get a chance?

Don't think you should dress up the working star. They probably work in the nude anyway :P And i think the concept needs the yellow.

Good stuff, voters hate fonts so go hand written. It might be cool to make the stars glow-in-the dark. I like the loose coloring, it makes it feel more like a comic. Maybe you could experiment with using that old screen saver with stars? But that would probably bee to much.

Very nice, I'd have to say hand written as well, and I'd like to see the text on top, almost like a speech bubble.

i actually agree text on top undressed star, handwritten.

But, I think the comp needs some enhancement, people are really going to analyze it, because hey thats what our culture does now, stares at screens for the majority of our days. I'd like to see "Monday" referring to the famous line "sounds like somebody's got a case of the mondays" I understand the comp works well low key, not blasting with color or anything, but maybe change the font, add images of sunset and sunrise... not sure its up to you. I really like the illustration, i'm looking forward to seeing what you do next. Oh and I just looked at V1... Tetris might actually add to the comedy here... its complicated cause you have two themes going on tho.

small amendment... the handwritten in V1 i can't read "mmmkay" well enough. and that font you have is actually pretty nice, handwritten sounds more interesting though.

really like the colors, looks almost like a highlighter colored it in. Also really catchy phrase, seems likely this will attract some attention.

Thanks for all of your comments! I have tried to put them all to good use in this version. I have brought back the Tetris for a little added humor. I also went back to handwriting, however I re-wrote it so it is clearer. I also made it larger so it is easier to read from a distance. I also added more text to the monitor, including "best players" which list Orion, Big D. (big dipper) Little B. (little bear) etc. I know those details won't show up when printed on a tee, but they are there for fun. Also, Sunrise & set times was moved to the sheet of paper (again, probably not readable on the tee).

Much bigger fan of the tetris, and I agree with the gripping of the cup. Other than that I think you're pretty squared aways.

in a sense more doodle-like to fit the colouring of the image.
but again that's only my opinion.

Thanks for all of your comments! I have made the boss star grip the cup, as well as added some depth to the cup and boxes etc. I would love to hear if you guys have any final comments. I probably would have put it up, but I figure it wouldn't have been approved until Monday or Tuesday anyway, so I may as well get in any final tweaks. Thanks for all of your help!

Oh and I tried to add the yellow glow onto some of the objects, but it became over powering and I felt it distracted from the overall design. Appreciate the idea though.

This is looking great! As a nice touch of color and awesome Office Space reference, I'd add a red swingline stapler to the items on the desk. It's obvious who the character with the coffee is, but no so much the one at the desk. with the wide body shape of the star, even if you envisioned him as the lead, he looks more like the one who only wanted his red swingline. Just a thought. Good luck!! I also love the coloring outside the lines. I've playing with that idea on a design I'm working on. Think that would be cool for the stapler as well. .

I like the idea Adam. I thought about adding the swingline as well. But I decided to stick with Peter (the lead) because his boss was always asking him to work on weekends, not the stapler guy. So I figured it would keep the theme a little more consistent. Thanks for the comment!

i love the idea here, very cool..just the cup that he is holding, maybe you can make it more 3 dimensional like the phone and keyboard and boxes .because the characters has that stiff look already, just make it a little round perhaps :D thanks!
