you need to actually make this a t-shirt design, not just a drawing, then maybe people could comment more.

hey i'm not trying to shoot you down. i think it could be a good tee, you just need to flesh it out so we can get a better idea. it does look a little lame pasted onto the template tho.

yeah it's bit hard to tell where it's going at the moment. make it a tee. love the top half not sure about the bottom half though.

I didn't think you were trying to shoot me down lajlai, I was just saying i've seen this done before. I know it looks lame like this. Its just my ideas get shot down a lot and i wanted some feed back before I tried to draw this in illustrator. Its a lot of time to put in on something no one would like ya know.

same feedback as your other design. usually the designs that win on Threadless have some sort of point or humor associated with them. Either that or they're really intricate and beautiful. i like your style though, just apply it to some sort of concept and i think you'll do well.

are you trying to think of mermaid concepts or just concepts in general?

just in general Unfortunately concepts re the hardes part for me. I went to school for illustration and we were always given concepts. Not that thats a good excuse

I can come up with fine art concepts better than tshirt concepts. Its like I have no idea what people would wear.

i'll send them out sometime in the next couple hours...need to go through and choose the ones i won't do first.
