This is awesome. Well-executed and hilarious. Only thing I would recommend is photoshopping it onto an actual t-shirt model so people know what it looks like when worn.
Very cute. Very nice drawing style. Submit it, but make sure the presentation is really good (so it doesn't get lost in the mix). Seeing it on a real shirt is a very good idea.
Much better presentation! And I like the shiny nails. Just slow down the animation a bit - it goes through the t-shirt colors a little too quickly - and then submit!
Oh, to answer your earlier question - as long as there aren't identifiable faces or logos (copyright infringement), you can pretty much take whatever model works for you. So the one you have up there is perfect.
One thing you might want to consider is using the Threadless models (Click here for Ross's set of staff models), or blogger models (Click here). One thing is that it's generally assumed if you use one of the blogger photos, you'll give them a free tee if your design wins. :-)
W-wow! Thank you everyone, for the fantastic response! I'll push this into the running either today or tomorrow.
Ladykat-- I'll get on the animation timing right away!
And thank you for the links, I never knew these existed! I wound up yoinking one of the models from I Like Trees Too, it was decently large and easy to stamp out the original design. But I'll detinitely use these in the future! I was wondering where everyone got their caray-zee shirt models...
I am learning all sorts of things about Threadless culture today.
I slowed down the animation to two seconds per frame rather than one second per frame. Thank you again, Ladykat!
I, ah, think I'm going to push this into the running tonight, if no one has anything else constructive to add. Thank you so much everyone for being so helpful and supportive. You guys are awesome!
And Ravedave: I originally wanted to call the shirt "Trannysaurus," but it looks like there's a band called Trannysaurus? It was a battle in my mind between Trannysaur and Trannysaurus Regina, but the former is more concise.
I'd love to hear your feedback!
