haha, that's a great concept. I'd say the haltone effect makes the whole thing look quite messy. I'd just have some flash lines to show they're mirrors and have the images reflect infinitely in full clarity

I agree w/ staffell about the halftone. I think it creates a bit too much visual information to take in. Otherwise, the textures (hair, woodgrain, etc) look really great, and the concept is very cute.

Love the concept, change the halftones as others said already. I would try adding a room around the mirrors to make design more interesting.

i too agree with staffell about the halftone
i think a room isn't necessery but you do need a floor or a bit of shadow so they won't seem so "floaty" :P

OK, it took some thinking, but I recreated the effect without halftones- other than some linear ones for a bit of a glare (and to help the face pop a bit for the top reflections). I like this a lot better- thanks for the feedback from V1. Any new thoughts on this one? Thanks!

Thanks for comments! Glad you like it. I might be bothered a bit by the way the image becomes more and more angled. It's fairly accurate since one of the mirrors is tilted, but I might try the whole thing with it untilted and see how it looks.

I love this! I really do. I think the angling in the mirrors is fine!
Maybe you could do some more work to humanize him, possibly make the legs of the mirror look more like feet. Although it looks amazing already, it's hard coming up with suggestions for such a perfect design!

I think it looks great the mirror effect is so amazing man! great job on that, I feel that you need more of a surrouding enviornment. I just feel like the circle isn't gonna cut it. But wow what a great idea and well executed I would just say a little larger mirrors and then think of a good background? Awesome just a little more man!

the problem is not your background, it's the tee color. maybe try a light blue, gray, white, and maybe red? anything that looks better, show us.

I might try some different color tees. The background can't really be detailed b/c that would expose the spatial impossibility of the set-up. Like if I actually drew a wall and a floor, it would show that the left mirror is actually further back from the viewer from the right mirror. I could restructure the whole thing, but I don't think it would be worth it. : (

I'd make the background a little bit bigger or thiner.

Too many options... starting to not enjoy creative process.... yet another version....

Although I think this is the strongest. I also think it NEEDS that oval to unify the two halves. Nice and subtle this time, though.

I'm sure you got a million doses of feedback. I love it!!!!!!!! I see you have been back and forth with the background, but I am not a big of a fan. Do what you need to though. This is a really amazing concept and you executed very well.
