the idea that i'm going for is that the kid's costume is so good that the giant cat thinks he is one of her kittens and takes him away. and of course his siblings don't notice. please let me know if that is clear... and if there is anything you would change here. thanks!

i think it's pretty clear that's what's going on, but maybe if you gave the real cat white paws & [maybe] a white chest the cat and the kid would be linked better.

the tail on the cat doesn't look right, the highlighted edge shouldn't extend into the body, and actually that round butt looks odd too...looks fine otherwise.

cleaned it up, fixed some of the linework, made the cat's tail more clear. let me know if you like it the way it is or if anything needs changing.

i was considering putting a litter of kittens beside the cat to show that she thinks that this kid escaped her brood. let me know if you think that would add to this or not.

I think the idea of the kittens would be good...it kinda looks like the cat wants to eat the kid right now. New brighter colors are much better. The cats tail still seems a bit too thick, maybe have it on the ground instead of sticking up?
Overall this is a great Halloween design...I like!
