I dont think I'll clutter it up with stars cos the concept is based around mapping the phases of the moon onto the cookie monster rather than the other way round.

That said, I'll give it a go ;)

Cool, thanks man - my current version already has the cookie/earth bigger - I'm kinda annoyed I submitted the other version at all, it looks so unfinished compared to this :/.

Any opinions on the angles of the eyes at all? Should they line up with the mouths, especially at 3/4, or do they work like so?

I guess I kinda forget what he's like.

Does he sort of normalize once he's had his fill of cookie? Or is he crazy all the time? Maybe keep his eyes all bonkers throughout the orbit... but still like have him anticipating the next phase or whatever like it looks like he's doing now?

I dunno, the normal eyes / crazy eyes are just a tad inconsistent at the moment.

Ahh, I don't mean his pupils, I mean the placement of his eyeballs. To elaborate, on 45, 135, 225 and 315 degree angles, the eyeballs are running perpendicular to the crumb/orbit line, yet the shadows cast on each respective moon face lie at 180 degrees to north.

Compare them to 0, 90, 180 and 270, where the eyes lie directly opposite the mouth.

Actually; the shadows lie at 90 and 270 degrees

I think it's the stars, actually. Maybe make them a little less shiny - just dots maybe.
