Fixed a few things and made it a bit more "classic".

in my opinio vers.one was bettere....i really don't like the "scratched" effect....
but i love your design...really simple and funny...

I like the halftone shadows and highlights but not the classic effect..

Softer black color, and no more weathered texture....

Great stuff, but one minor gripe: The white colouring of the bottom clouds sometimes heads over the lineart into the hero. I thought it might be intentional, since that happened a lot for old comics, but I don't see this happening anywhere else in the design - so I'd just clean it up.

Since you're being a perfectionist though I'd integrate the burst effect a lil better with the top line of those clouds, sometimes it crosses and sometimes it doesn't reach I think it might be better if the burst was sposed to be cut off by the fog/cloud
