New version with halftones

hmm. do you like the halftones? i'm not sure if it is much better than the way you had it before. i do feel like the squiggly lines look too untextured compared to the rest of it.

i take that back. when i compare the examples of it on a tee, i prefer the halftones

I like V1 tongue better...great design either way tho :)

i'd have to disagree with everyone... i enjoy v2's tongue... the clash of textures in this version makes it more interesting... if anything, i'd develop the eyes of the sun/monster thingy, give it a better expression... otherwise, i like it, go for it...

but, why is the bird saying "cui?"

In french "cui" is the way to reproduce in a picture the noises make by birds.. Maybe it's an other word in english?

I understood the meaning of "cui" just fine... And I like the halftone better, too. The "full" tone looks unbalanced.
