haha, I like it! :)
Why are most of them on their side?
Also - I'm not so familiar with special inks, but is there any way to make a fire inside that will glow in the dark or be visible in direct light?
that's a good idea! I should just do some halftoning pattern to make it look like there are fires inside for sure. re: the faces being on the side, they're all faces created using characters on a keyboard
haha yeah monostyke is typing in riddles.
This'll be just in time for halloween, I think the halftone pattern is a good idea! way clever with the pumpkin seed spew too!
Is there a way to give more depth to the pumpkins? I'm more referring to the lines on them, like a slight shadow on some of them to give them more shape. Are you gonna show placement next version? =]
A few helping words on my critique would be appreciated!
haha awesome, this is such a good idea. the only thing i see is that the stuff coming out of the pumpkins mouth looks a bit funny, especially around the other little pumpkin. maybe work on that a bit and yea a fire in the mouths could be cool. would be great to see it on a tee, maybe not an orange one though?
It shouldn't be too hard to give them depth, I'll see what I can do. I also think the pulp coming from the big pumpkin's mouth looks strange because it has no outline like the rest of the elements do.
I love the subtlety of the humor in this piece. It made me think for a second before I got the joke, very cool!
I don't think I can add much to the other critiques you've been given, definitely want to see a second version of this. I would also like to see it on a different color shirt, but that's mostly because I look terrible in orange ;)
Good luck!
I like it, but as far as I can see, the only connection between keyboard faces and pumpkins is the title... perhaps the meaning of 'ween' is eluding me...?
