I don't know what about this design appeals to me so much, all I know is that I chuckle when I look at it. The only thing I see that I would change is the window that the big onion is looking through. Make that a dfferent color to represent glass or shade the background behind the big onion darker to give it some depth. Right now it almost looks like a poster/pic in a frame on the wall. And I see you added some shadow to the veges. Maybe add a little shadow under the "cut" to make it stand out more, it took a second glance before the cut stood out. Other than that... funny.

I love this a lot. I think the glass should be more glass like with details also behind that onion there should be a shadow further behind it. I want to see placement!

The onion doesn't look cut to me. Other than that it looks fantastic.
