Just thought I'd put this up for critique as I have had my last several designs knocked back. I haven't submitted anything for several years and they seem to be a lot harsher in approving designs for scoring.

Ok I just had this declined too within 20 minutes...at least I think I have. It was in on my design page saying pending approval and then it just vanished. Is this what happens when a design is declined because I assumed they would stay on your account page so you can see what you have submitted.

Could you let me know if you find the answer..it's really bugging me. I though it takes least a couple of days to get a design approved/declined not 20 minutes...I just want to know if it has been declined or there is a glitch in the system or something.

hey bolaker, i'm so sorry because i can't see what's wrong with it except it's really good work! the only thing i would suggest is to lose the text, i think you don't need it.

Normally I would agree about removing unnecessary text but in this case I feel that is a vital part of the illustration that adds a play on words that would otherwise be lost. To most people it would just be a colourful pig.

Oh, I kinda like the text. I could do with or without it. It's really cute, I don't understand why it would be declined so quickly.

Ok...Thought it might be the text that got this declined the first time but I think it adds to the overall concept so didn't want to remove it. I have therefore implemented it more into the illustration and guess what....declined again!

Anyone?.........
