The final change to this is actually in the smoke of the plunging plane to give it a bigger sense of movement. Apart from this. i thin I'm pretty good to go. What think you?
Rationale wise, my version is a cautionary take on the Maxtopia theme against overreaching our own hands in our race to harness the powers of Nature with Technology. Metaphorically, I chose a bulb to represent the recreation of the power of light and heat and aircrafts to represent the imitation of the power of flight. Visually, this is meant to resemble a bunch of moths flying around a ligthbulb with one of them getting burnt for getting too close to the bulb. I'd have to admit, outside of the context and rationale, this design is pretty much meaningless. At the very least, I'm banking on earning brownie points for technical achievement, artwise :P |

Honestly, I wouldn't see nature here without your explanation.
Great art though. I don't like the moon, at all, sorry. The plane at upper left has an annoying outline; maybe others too. Let them blend into black. |

I've liked this from the start. But if the moon is off, maybe lighten the dark spots on it a little.
I don't think it matters, I love it and I say submit. |

:) Thanks!!! i actually think I'm ready to submit. Yeah, I think I should just do it. :P No sense in waiting since I don't feel like editing this anymore. Better get a move on on another submission or some other design no? If this doesn't work out here, I can always smack this in other sites to see if they want it instead :P (though it would be great if it DOES work out here, obviously) :P

Hey this is looking great, my only comment would be to curve the smoke & slightly tilt the plane, so it's swooping a bit and balances the design out with the stars on the other side. and maybe do a blur propeller on the bigger plane on the left. It's kinda floating a bit. The moon is great and composition wise it's working really well, look forward to seeing it up for voting :)

I think the blurred smoke trail loses the charm of the original way you had it. The plane isn't blurred at all so it looks stamped on or photoshopped. Besides that, I love it.

Theres something about this I really like. For me though, the front most two planes are my least favorite, they just look out of place, but the ones in the background blend in and look better. Maybe just have those three circling the light? Good job keep it up!
