i do think this needs more details and love!:)
for example, the sun seems darker then the rays...which doesn't make sense, and there is no real relations between the sun and the earth, they seem ditached from one another...so definitly have the earth maybe looking and getting sun blinded by, well, the sun lol:)

ahhh yay, you used the earth idea. looking good.

i prefer V1, although be better with halftoned out ray-ends.
less = more and all that. you might be over complicating it in this third one, and the composition a bit cluttered. and the yellow on that blue is sweet.

I think V3 is really nice. I like the concept! Maybe you could add a moon laughing at the earth. And mabye you could experiment with the amount of rays and planets.

I think that I would mix the minimalism of the v1 with the guns and the halftones of v4. Personally I prefer the sunshine of v1, happily destructive.

I tried a black hole, but I wasn't that keen on it. Plus, the black sort of got lost in the navy and it didn't seem right to make it a different colour.

maybe have mercury really close up and smoking or just really hot?

Neil - you're right. If this ever prints, I mix up the rotation of the stars for sure

this is looking good. I do feel like the rings on Saturn could be mixed up with a few colors if you wanted.

I love it how it is and I know you probably don't want to visually take away from the sun but I think it would be super cool if you made the two planets on the very right brighter colors, they seem a little dull. I really love it though! Awesome job, I want to buy it for my nephew!

what do you mean bort? I've got dirty white and brown in the rings already, but I want to keep it at 6 colours, so I'm kind of limited.

@ Miss Monica - I think you could be right about that, it would be pretty easy to change the colours so the colours pop a bit more. I will do that.

nevermind, I just googled Saturn. For some reason I thought it had a more colorful set of rings. I was just thinking you could add some color to them using the other colors you already have in the palette.

I thought I loved previous versions, but the is definitely the one. I love it. I especially love our little tiny moon.

I just made some very slight modifications at the end, most notably to the colours. Thanks so much for the support everyone!

I just had the perfect idea for this design if it was a zipper hoody. You use your current design on the back, and then on the front you have the sun holding up one of the ray guns blowing off the smoke from the barrel.

and winking at the viewer.

and Nestor, while I do agree with you somewhat about the UFO, I try to get round that by thinking it's much closer to the viewer (even though the design is basically flat. Either that, or it's a fuck off mothership UFO....
