Colours? Placement? The eye could do with a pupil.

this is a sweet idea. maybe work on colors and maybe a background to balance it. :)

Do you think a Day or Night scene?

Um, day? No idea, depends on what your take of day/night is!



I was just looking again and I think it needs a left arm and leg - they wouldn't be perfectly placed to be hidden from view by the right arm and leg.



Also, I know some frogs have flipper like feet, but i think it might look better if it was like the hand - with distinct but webbed toes.

The reason of day or night is because it sets a different mood on the scene.

ok heres what you need to do...and it's a need.



you need to only focus on the basics...minimalism will serve you well here...



the bits out of the water should be one colour...



the bits under the water should be (probably) a darker shade of the above water colours



do not deviate too much from this.



use the shirt colours as most of your line wok (i say delete the lines after you colour it all in).

I think you should go all out with the texture on this. Don't half-ass it =) Really looking forward to revisions.

I don't know why, but I wanna see his leg down, not all tucked up.... as if he is actually propelling himself to stay on the surface....

maybe one leg down one up, like he's paddling.

i´d love to see this colourized.....and i´d suggest a lil bit more water surface,if you set this on night scene you could even playa bit around with some reflections,but i honestly i don´t know if gators hunt or frogs stay up all night....i´m not even sure if it´s that important,but i swear if i find out on wikipedia and you do it wrong i ´ll ZERO it....:-)....yeah i think the idea with the bird could be nice,or another animal that is a prey for gators or a natural enemy of a frog...(are there any?)...just to have a little more story going on.....the only thing that disturbs me just a lil bit is that he´s lookin bit

too static under the surface.....i love that idea and think that this can turn out awesomely fantasticly.....keep on workin on this ,...waitin´ for the next v!...

yes needs color. and the other set of limbs. i couldnt tell what it was at first glance....priceless concept though...just needs work...
