I get that you're juxtaposing the two styles, but I still think you need to do more to make the creature seem like he fits with the rest of the picture. Maybe a similar dot pattern would help.

Yeah definitely green. Also, as the scientist is halftoned, I think if you added some halftoned shading and/or highlights to the alien it would help integrate it a bit.

i don't think puff ink is needed. i don't even know if Threadless has printed a puff ink shirt yet (although they apparently can).

it looks better with the added dimension of the black but it needs more for the creature to become more defined.

No special ink printing because it wouldn't add much to your design and it would make the t-shirt more expensive. Where did you get the photo of the cute scientist? Did you take it yourself?

This is the coolest thing ever. I love it. Before you submit it though you might want check the blacks on another monitor, I'm seeing the black square where you overlaid the design, over the black of the T-shirt. They're a little different.

Also, you might want to consider how big the beaker/cylinder are compared to the man's hand. They look a little small.

Maybe make the little red guys mouth a little clearer as it took a few seconds for my brain to see it as a mouth rather than a nose. Love this idea though, works well.

i think that how they are now, they are more graphically related to the little cute crature, but they should be more part of the scientist world...
