In 3 colors. It's something of course absurd, with the oil derrick shape becoming like the bone structure of the alien. Or transforming into an alien...Perhaps my concept will be enjoyied...i don't know...It's fun design, talking also about a tough theme...of course, you can interpret it like curse of oil exploitation is becoming insane, in the past decade and in the future...ANyway, you also just can see the design itself being crazy and fun , up to you! ;-)

I am not sure about the choice of the text, i tried to fit a maximum the concept...but i don't know, perhaps someone will find a better one! I am either not sure about the clarity of the oil derrick for people...

I would like it better if you make oil derrick in the shape of an alien that is sucking the earth, more like a comic or something, give it more impact.



the alien can be full of oil pipelines and stuff like tat, dripping crude oil from his mouth and stuff.

The text is ok, it's small enough to pass unnoticed. I like your desing, just not sure if many people would wear it. I'd say give it a shot at voting, it's a quality draw, good work!

I like the concept a lot. I would be one of the people who would wear it. I'm not sure if you need to put the text in at all. I do like the addition of the symbols into the leg though.

in a way you are right, my concept is slighty different right now, i made a bone structure more obvious, with different mechanic elements, related to Oil oc course. The whole thing seems more dynamic i guess, like the thing was about to move :)

That could work, but I prefer the name, and people considerable familiar with the movie would get a chuckle and others would just think its a fictional/random company name. Could do "W-Y Oil" to keep it under the radar. Whoa, I just realized that could also represent why oil.

yeah audiovore! i'm pretty happy that you like it, because the idea is from you :) for the pumps, i don't know, i think they give a "plus" even if it's slight, it has more impact than just barrels... what you think about the "inflammable eye" ? :)

Its ok even though Aliens didn't have that discernable of eyes from what I remember. It should probably be scaled down slightly since its borders seem to be scraping the edges, and perhaps place it on the actual pump?

yep! thanks. i scaled down a little the eye, that's perfect, but i won't put it on the pump, because it's aesthetically very bad ;-)

Figured that might be the case. Just an idea since it would be a 'real' warning then. Too bad the acid/corrosive symbol is crap...

just a slight update from the V4, i changed the eye (colors and size), to make it more in harmony with the whole design

I like the pumps on the leg, the addition of the business men shaking hands is awesome, but I don't like the eye at all, I would take it out. Great design, it gets a 5 from me when subbed, I would totally wear this!

ok! i change the eye, i leave it for lucid, strala and gbastien, and for me of course :)

from wikipedia: "Weyland-Yutani is consistently portrayed as exhibiting the worst aspects of corporate profiteering, and as being willing to sacrifice decency and human life in the pursuit of profit."

the point is, when you don't know that, you just assume that's it's an oil company...so that's a "plus" IMO
