However I'd try to change it to a cmoplimenting color. Meaning Blue with Red, Green with Orange, Orange with Purple, etc. Coplimentary colors are more pleasing to the eye, that's why they're almost always used when it comes to perofesional sports teams uniforms.
Complimentary? "Complimentary colors are colors that are across from each other on the color wheel. Violet and yellow are complimentary, Blue and orange are complimentary, and red and green are complimentary. "
Anyway, I like the blue green combo (on the green shirt). I think it's well done, overall.
just to put this out there again (since my last statement is hidden under the V1 tab:
I was using a peacock's plumage as my color scheme. Does this look enough like a peacock (subliminally or obviously) enough to make this scheme worthwhile?
Well.. after fliping between the wiki photo and the design, the only thought I have is that the guitar needs to be conected to the plumage somehow. They look like 2 seperate elements instead of one whole "bird."
Not sure how to connect them or if it will even help the design though....
I will keep that in mind today at work 9since I lik thinking about anything BUT work)
see if I can't work something out.
I originally had CDs in behind the guitar to moch the green tail feathers, but I was using too many colors and the detail on the guitar was getting lost, so I pulled them out. But that may be something I can revisit.
no real reason, though to be fair, some of the 7 inches are floating a well. The first batch of "feathers" that I had behind all the elements went out to the mics, but it just made the design look too round against the guitar so I slimmed the "feathers" down
Blue as the 5th color on a green tee and vice versa.
