I would keep them the same color and change the mask designs for each, even though I know what you are trying to do but you are mixing a masquerade with a costume party

Without a little further detail (not too much mind you) it is difficult to really tell that they're at a masquerade ball. Someone mentioned an ice sculpture, that may be a little OTT but some feathers to the masks. You could also give it a feeling that it is in an elaborate ice palace or something (a pillar or two something like that). Too Much?

Wow, this is really originally and fun. It would be interesting to see the masks with color, though I might prefer it the way it is. Reminds me of the Edward Gorey style.

added an iceberg, and also reworked the mask on the left. want to do the rest of them as well; with feathers and stuff... want to keep it up to four colors (maybe five). also gonna rework the reflection a bit to make it more water-like...

yep, working on four more masks, some cocktail glasses (good point about the suggested ribbons) and some extra work on the iceberg... i'll let you know when it's finished agrimony

I wouldn't over complicate it any more - It is great in it's simplicity. I love all the different penguins apart from the one who looks like a cow - he's a little on the skinny side.

still have to work on the iceberg sides, but it's nearly finished i think. made the cow one a lot fatter, which was a good suggestion from JackieA. also added two mask ribbons and gave the zebra penguin a glass of cold stuff :-) it's their "annual fancy dress cocktail masquerade ball you know" :-)

i think it's the best version but i'm wondering why only one penguin has a drink. and maybe the placing of the spots on the penguin with a cane can still improve :)

yeah i thought about that too, that only one of them has actually a drink... maybe i should rework it a bit to give at least one or two penguins also a glass... the panda and the orca might do the trick... cheers :-)
