hey, i think text should be grey instead of purple. so it will stand out the contrast with the shirt. (: if not u can try monochromatic.

I like the way the fonts chosen make it look like some sort of smart alphabet poster which has been vandalized. It COULD be taken up a notch though, by taking that effect and making it more extreme and obvious ... ?

It took me a while to get this, but I think this can be remedied if you make the background letters stand out more. The easiest way to do this would be to change the background color. I think a creme color (like you suggested) would work well.
