2nd - The Wood Burning Guitar
3rd - The Steam Guitar
4th - The Electric Guitar

I'm not sure about the clay-oven style woodburning one. And the details aren't all finalised yet.

I'm with you. The woodburning guitar doesn't fit in. One major reason, it doesn't have strings.

It's a good idea, just make it more guitar like.

Yeah, i know. I was goin to add in the strings but i'm not sure if that will even help it

wats going on with the electric guit, too? it has a wall plug on it?

I know, it's intentional. In the way that all the previous designs have elements of other objects running through them - neolithic has a flint axe look, steam guitar is based on the front of a steam train - i wanted the electric guitar to have a kind of 1950's appliance quality to it, so, wall plug, giant switches, lightbulbs (where the tuning peg things would be)

LOVE gittars 1, 3 and 4 - plug on 4 confuses me and would love to see some warm color for fur?

also i dont like that the smoke on the steam and wood burning guitars is the same just different sizes

#2 kind of looks like an igloo with a chimney. The plug on #4 makes sense. It's a good "goofy" idea.

i like the concept! and the style of the third guitar is especially successful to me.

And T'tees, i know about the smoke and steam being the same, i just quickly dropped the smoke in to give an idea about the shape and colouring of the oven guitar.

I'll finish it off to the same standard as the others and then post a V2 to see what the thoughts on it are.

oh yeah - whats the thought on the shadows? I wanted it to have a subtle hanging effect, like the guitars were mounted on a wall or something.

maybe have the strings begin with just one or a couple in the neolithic then add more with each stage

I like the idea, is great, but the second guitar i do not really like it, maybe just 3 is right....

ehhhhh lame.

Instead of a woodburning stove, could you make it like copper and badly hewn for like the copper age? It would progress well from there, stone age to metal tool to the steam engine to the guitar.
