I think I prefer the mushrooms of the one you've posted on the blog... the pill is better, but can certainly been improved...

I redid the mushrooms as the other one had too many copied and pasted, I wanted it to look like they naturally tumbled out in random positions.

this is funny, but you can't actually put the word "viagra" on it without copyright infringement. try spelling it a bit differently, like viagro or something.

before you sub:



fix the white circle thats overlapping part of the pill capsul. its on the top mushroom on the right side.



the GRA is not at the correct angel either. tilt it upwards just a bit.



the brown lines that create the capsuls ridges should go all the way down to the bottom.



it might look a little better if the mushrooms shadows wernt so simple. maybe try making it more like the shape of the spewing mushrooms.

changed up the product name to avoid any forseeable complications, altered the "lips" on the capsule halves so they look like they'd slide together properly.

If you're still up for change I'd remove the words altogether and just use a diamond shaped blue pill. Also, the shadows casted by the pill and the mushrooms don't match the light source.

i disagree, you absoltely need the words and where is there another lightsource reference except for the shadow? i think this is probably the funniest shirt i've seen here yet. 5 from me, sub this ish!

Ah, one thing about the shadows I just noticed -- there are none on the objects themselves. With such a heavy black shadow on the surface, one would expect shading on the capsule and the mushroom guys. Do you have any color left to do that with? I think there's only 4 there right now...

unfortunately, there are already 5 (black, peach, white, red and blue)



I really only used the shadow to make the piece seem more cohesive, but I totally get all the shadow comments. the only thing I can think of to work on the shadows would be some cross hatching swatch, but within my personal abilities, that won't work. I've never gotten swatches to look proper.

here I tried a halftone shadow... I'm not fully pleased, I still like the full shadow, but I wanted to try it regardless.

the shadow might work if the halftone was smaller

so i'm assuming the halftone you've used is large enough to pass threadless' "no tiny halftones" rule?

thats a pretty huge halftone. what do we think of putting some on the mushrooms too? would that be too much / look muddled?

I spelled it with a Y to avoid possible legal issues, even if they don't exist, if voters think it will be an issue, they tend to score low.



I couldn't get the halftones any smaller, and I'm sure these are HUGE compared to threadless' smallest possible. Does anyone know of a halftone tutorial besides this one:

It's a funny idea and illustrated well, but I don't know how many people would want to wear a shirt with viagra on it. It's not as bad as having GOATSE on your shirt, though.

perhaps a generic vitamin version that has mushrooms, stars and fire flowers?



or better yet, just 1-up mushrooms?



/if you want to avoid 'vyagra', which i don't think is really an issue

the whole joke is that the mushroom is what made mario "enlarge" in the game, so keeping viagra in the design in some way is kind of important to me.



And again, I'm only changing it to vYagra because I've seen alot of voters state that they voted zero because they believed there would be a legal problem with a design... regardless of the reality. So I've decided to sidestep the misunderstandings and just change the name.

haha, im a fan of the halftone from far back view, but the solid color up close, so either works. very funny design! well done

I... don't know which is better. A smaller half-tone would be ideal, but otherwise... I dunno.
