Just an idea I had. Thought I'd put up the sketch to run the concept past anyone who cares to look. Obviously requires a whole lot of love if I decide to proceed with it.

Haha. It's not clear right now, but they are using planks of wood on rope - which is how regular people do it. If enough people don't get this immediately, then I won't bother cracking on with it.

me and my family were driving passed a field once and I made a joke like this years ago. heh that's funny.

this is hilarious! with some colour (to make the wood look like wood) i think this would go over pretty good. don't quit it.

Just inked and scanned it and given it a little paint treatment in photoshop. Just about to vector it and will post back soon with my decision on the colour.

Hmmm, looks like the pencil version I posted got stretched slightly.

This is a really quick paint job to test the colours. It's on Banana. I think it's very fetching, and the logicl choice for this design.

Oh no you're wrong, I have three in my basement and I no longer need to have lighting down there... They emit less carbon emmissions too.

This is really awesome - and I love it on banana!



The aliens look rather flat though - it's an odd juxtaposition with the crop circle.



Also, the raised line of hay that juts out into the circle looks right in your pencil sketch, but I didn't get it when I first saw it because I was looking at this version. It doesn't pop out - at first I just interpreted it as a lower level of hay that hadn't been crushed yet. I think if there were some more sharply curved hay - especially near the alien's crusher thing - that would fix the illusion.

Haha. I take it back then. I don't think it's necessary to make them glow in the dark, but I'll put it to a vote later maybe. The only thing is the cost per mil litre of the glow in the dark stuff. They've suggested before that it's not particularly economical.

Thanks for the feedback Kate. It's important that I have a pair of fresh eyes telling me whats not working. I'll endeavor to make the bit that you mentioned work. Check back soon!

The art is great. I have no luck A few days ago a send an art really similar. 15 minutes after i send it, your idea appears. I couldn't believe it. I hope Threadless put my design for cometition too. It is "BELIEVE IN BREAKS".

v4 looks snazzier. it'd be cool if the design they made was the wu-tang sign...just saying.
