I think you should trust yourself to make a decision concerning colour. Pick your two favourite colour schemes and show us those! It's a bit overwhelming to ask for feedback on four different colour schemes, particularly when each one gives the shirt a totally different feel.

Changed placement and color options. For the top one, I pulled colors directly from a veiled chameleon. The second one is CMYK to play off the fact that chameleons can turn any color. :]

This is so cool! I agree, make the colors more vivid! And personally, I prefer the second option better. This is so awesome though, I would honestly buy this!

ooh i like the colors and the bottom placement!

I would definitely keep it bottom left, it doesn't look right centered. Also, I preferred the red/green/teal to the magenta/yellow, like in the V2, but it seems I'm alone on that.

I like the bottom version but I also like the version 2 colours. However if you want something that's vivid than go with v3.

The problem with center placement is that, in my pinion, under the chameleon there aren't enough color splatters, so it is sitting in a void or the background seems unfinished. If you change this it will be ok, as for now i'd prefer bottom placement.

Maybe instead of changing the center placement, you could move it down and add paint drippings off the shirt

I love your chameleon. What I'd do with it - and I know this is a lot of work, but I think it would really be worth it - is put the chameleon on a tree branch in the foreground, and then draw a bunch of trees/ forest behind him. Color the foliage of the forest in all sorts of zany colors, and make him transparent like he is. I think it would look awesome :D

I like bottom left placement best, it is suprising compared to center chest placement. What if the splatters covered more area so the chameleon was more hidden? Or if the lines of the chameleon blended a little more with the background. Right now the camouflage idea is being lost because the little lizard pops out at the viewer right away.

I like it on the bottom left. The center seems to busy. Very cool. I like that you used the colors for printing- Yellow, magenta, and cyan and of course black and white. Very nice. Submit it.

ooooo, this is neat, i love how you used the t-shirt colour in your design, its really awesome! Im liking this a fair bit, not sure on the purple colour though (personal preference though). And i see some texture on the far away trunks, maybe try adding a bit of texture to the branch the chap is sitting on? Coming along nicely from version one, good work!

I think this could use more texture/depth in the colored areas. The more of that there is, the cooler the chameleon's trick.

i think it looks really sweet. the trees are SO much better than the previous versions. i dont know if you need that layer on the chameleon though that makes the background behind it darker. idk.

Way wya wya cooler than any other version! I think this color scheme works the best and this background is much nicer! Great work man. I'd say submit!

Cool, I like what you did to the trees. Definite improvement. The leaves could benefit from this kind of detail. I think it could be a little more centrally located on the shirt, maybe with the tops of the trees framing the scene a little more.

this is kinda embarassing, but I'm not really sure how to add more details into leaves haha

I think this is a lot better than v4. I also like v1,v2,v3. I don't know why. :)

I think what this is missing is maybe a ground to really tie it together, just a bit of texture between the trees!

whoa idk, i think i like ver4 better. sorry to be contradictory to the others comments but idk this seems not as simple. maybe if you mixed some of these elements into version but dont make it too much. i like simple stuff and that seems to be the case w/ most threadless users as well.

chameleons toes wrap around branches when their holding onto them, instead of them sorta standing on the branch, it looks cool though.

I agree, I think the colors in v4 are really nice. I actually think it might be nice if the chameleon didn't stand out quite so much (ie. dark color instead of white) think black on black, or something close, know what I mean?

I added in some slight shading in the trees (using the same colors as the chameleon's shadow)

I lightened the chameleon's shadow

I made it a little larger on the shirt itself

I like it but I would be tempted to define the chameleon with a bit of shading but using a darker shade of the background colours. That way you can still see through him but he's given more dimension.
