Okay. So i'm trying to keep it in color for now... i took out what i called the "musical burst" but was all those lines behind the notes, i added some more notes and had them kinda plume upwards towards the left shoulder. I also enlarged the gramophone and put the design on a cream shirt to give it a more vintage feel. So those are the changes and I think its going in the right direction. Please tell me what you think! Thanks so much Threadless!

I like the idea but the colors don't complement eachother. I especially don't like the cyan color for the gramophone otherwise the design is kool

Treble clef in the corner is off, otherwise looks a little bland. Try adding more symbols so there is little open space.

okay well i'll think of a new color for the gramophone, thicken up the Note Plume.. the treble clef was supposed to be an accent but i can turn it all into just one big thing and wrap it a little more around the neck too...

Thanks Guys!

when i first looked at ur desk, it almost felt like the gramophone has little tiny legs, and is playing with little tiny arms to create the music. Then i looked harder and it didnt look like arms at all. Maybe you can play on that and add the arms and legs and make it come alive?

plz comment on mine if u get a chance:

This is coming along very well. It looks like you created a slight shading effect on the record player through the use of lines, however this is the only area that you used it on. I suggest that you either continue this shading method throughout, or drop it all together. Otherwise, it is looking great!

Thanks for the feedback, I like your ideas. Please take a look at my new version and let me know what you think: http://www.threadless.com/critique/58727/The_Cheerful_Street

what color shirt are you putting this on? i don't really like the pinkish peachish color... maybe look at some more? maybe you could have the notes be the same color as the gramophone also.

This looks A lot better than last version, well done.

I agree with others that you should try other colours for the gramophone and maybe arranging the notes a bit.

Also try some other vintage colours because the "pink" is just too girly for my taste :)

Other than that I think it looks pretty good.

I think its a great design concept AND color scheme! good work!

yes I'd definitely suggest arranging the notes a little better. There is a straight line extending upwards of a quarter note, half note, and an eighth note; it kills the flow. However, I do like how the notes coming out of the gramophone are smaller and they get bigger creating the illusion of depth.

It looks really good, I think the musical notes need to stand out a bit more, maybe try using a different color either for the notes or the tee itself.

Hey guys what color for the inside of the Gramophone and the notes? i'm kinda at a stand still for that!

Thanks Threadless!

As far as a color recommendation, I'm really not sure what to tell ya, play around with it on some different colors. The main thing that stands out to me is the music note up near the shoulder. I think its out of place for 2 reasons, 1- its way smaller than the notes around it and 2- its sitting in a large open space all by its self. I think we get the point with out it. Great work though and best of luck to you.

Please Critique my design.

Maybe if you outlined the notes in a different color, it would help them to stand out a little better.

Please take a look at my new version and leave feedback, I kept the orange but brought back the black:

Like the design, but would definitely like it a tad bit better if the Gramophone had more detail. The shading is nice, but maybe thin outline the edges/lips etc. Give it just a little more flair to match the speaker.

thanks for giving my design a review,

how about u change the gramophone into a gray scale photography image?

hey, i think it could work with a bigger gramophone. also, stay away from the edges a bit more.

have a look and critique of mine if you have time please!

I like it a lot! Gramophones are awesome. This is kind of a concept re-working suggestion, but when I first looked at it, I imagined the notes getting denser and denser, forming a kind of cloud or "musical smog" toward the shoulder.

Good stuff!

PS-Thanks for the comment on my "Catch me a Man" concept.

I like it. Maybe the notes need to be more strong (bold).
