Maybe some steam, as well.

the cup seems disproportionately large. maybe squash it so it doesn't take up so much space.

Yes, the cup seems very large! But not a bad idea at all. The thing that bothers me is that Joe from American Dad looks exactly like he does in the cartoon which might pose some copyright issues. But i guess changing that might make it not recognizable as Joe. Anywho, this is pretty good. It'll get there :)

Would you please critique my design? It's my first Threadless sub.

Can your draw the cup so it's in the same sytle/feel as the characters?

Joe Camel is great one to have in there. Yeah, I agree with what the others said, change up the cup and it'll be muy bueno.

If you drew those characters its awesome. I say get rid of the photographic mug and draw that out too! Add some shading, place it on a model and you're good to go!!!

Could you check my design out please?

smaller mug, bigger characters. Also maybe color - one color, not a lot...

Take a look at mine, pretty please :D.

Nice idea.

I'd deffo go with a shorter hand drawn mug. Then I think it's just a case of working the composition of the characters so they all sit nicely together.

I agree with the comments above, make the mug smaller and hand drawn. That way you can put the focus on the faces. You may have to stack the faces in two or three vertical rows to fit them.

I could use some feedback:
