The Articulate Gangster is far too smart for simple uneducated hand signs. They want to express themselves in more detail. To their peers they may be the same, but to others they are more than a 'Gangster'. To others they are a 'member of an organised group of criminals'



The hands have been roughly done at this stage due to me learning Illustrator along the way. I'm also yet to look into possible colouring and perhaps having two colours in addition to the black details.



Any ideas, thoughts, helpful advice would be awesome.

hahaha really funny. I might try thickening the lines within the hands a bit.

I would work on the line weright a bit inside the hands right now they look a bit weird, maybe try adding another color? for shading, that would be kinda cool

this is pretty clever. the only thing i would say is make the lines in the hands darker, at very first glance i didn't get the joke, and it was really well drawn.
