Idea: I was thinking maybe drawing Abraham Lincoln flying airfoce one first class, being the giant eagle, or maybe I can keep it generic and just have a few people on the basket travelig flying first class, let me know what you think, this are just initial concept sketches. while I think of it a bit mroe to develop the idea.

Love the wing shape on the top eagle, and the lower evil-lookin' eagle eye! Combine those for the epic win.

I like the idea. The lower eyesketch i think is best.

I like the concept, and adding a US president does fit into it, since you're using an eagle. However I don't think it's nescessary. I would go for the eagle sketch on top and the lower eye. If only I could draw like you...

I decided to go with a more generic person, didnt think the abraham added much to the travel concept. hopefully I get some more done tonight

how about if you make the person look like a steampunk scientist or sumtn? some nice copper tones to the basket and telescope!

thanx guys, ummm steam punk scientist sounds cool, but I wanna try and connect it as much as I can with traveling, so I wanna make him look more like an explorer type person, that travels around flying with his giant bird etc

I think you're moving in the right direction. As for your explorer, maybe a bit Indiana-Jonesy? He strikes me as a person that actually encounters these types of birds.

yeah I ditched the idea and ade it an explorer, I didnt feel like it added to the travel theme, it would have bee another idea ike the original airforce one haha but didnt fit with travel in my opinion as much

this one I did it with my tablet, since it was done by erasing lines instead od drawing lines to achieve that look with the feathers

ummm its a tablet, wacom tablet and I used a few different size brushes

it has the pen preassure right, just try and learn more confident strokes from thicker to thin, but I just use usually something like the brush size 19, and then go a bit smaller for some of the detail, but try and not to go too small cause you might lose some of the detail when printing
